Overview

The Model 973 Dew Point Mirror is a portable instrument equipped with an integral measuring head for both spot and continuous measurement of Dew/Frost point and temperature in air and gas mixtures. Based on the chilled mirror principle, the 973 ensures direct and accurate humidity measurement.

Color Touch Screen

The system uses a full color active matrix liquid crystal display with an integral touch panel. It has a high contrast ratio and a wide viewing angle for easy readability. Data is displayed in large easy to read fonts. Using the on screen buttons and menus, you can easily configure each line of the display for a variety of humidity, temperature, and pressure parameters that may be viewed in either SI or non-SI units. A simple touch of a button toggles any parameter between numeric or graph format.

Dew/Frost Determination

User configurable via the full color active matrix LCD touch screen, the 973 may be configured for measurement of dew point, frost point, relative humidity, and other parameters. The ForceFrost™ feature ensures reliable differentiation between super-cooled dew and frost.

Verifiable Calibration

Easily check the calibration at any time using the built-in Ice Test function, providing instant proof of system accuracy and integrity.

Connect and Go

The system is supplied ready for immediate use complete with built-in pump, flow meter, pressure sensor, and external temperature probe. PC connectivity for remote data collection is easy with the simple yet robust protocol of the bi-directional RS-232 port.
