I want to come up with something to share for Show-n-Tell Thursday, but there's a problem: the cleverest things I use are all based on other people's work. I'm a shameless vulture of code found on Notes.Net, or other people's blogs, or wherever. I give credit to these people in my comment lines, of course, so that future generations of Notes designers know where to place the credit, but it's not as if I can post these items here.
One of the great things about the Notes community, of course, is that these things are out there in the first place. For that reason, I assume I'm not alone -- in fact, I know I'm not -- and that others share the same dirty little secret!

Sometimes it is good to revisit code, ideas, and things learned. Someone like me might not even know about it. Just give the credit where it is due.

We all re-use code... Why not make a list of the top ten things that you use most frequently, you don't need to post code, just a description of what they are.
If you get comments of "wow, how do you do that?" or "where did that come from?", you know that it's something worth repeating.

One of my first "Show-n-Tell Thursday" posts was about a disclaimer, which I have used on many occasions. I just felt that if I liked it, and I did attribute the source
, there may be someone else that could benefit. Go for it.

Okay, I'll do it. I'll gather up one or two and post links to them tomorrow.
