To go along with the article on AJAX that I just did for Lotus Advisor, I did an interview with Vinod Seraphin, who is the architect of Domino Web Access. Because it was initially an IE-only technology, AJAX took about five years to become an "overnight success", and DWA was one of the earliest major applications built using AJAX techniques. I thought it would be interesting for Advisor's readers to get Vinod's perspective, and I also managed to convince Advisor's staff to open it up so that it wouldn't be limited to Advisor subscribers. The article on AJAX itself will remain an exclusive for Advisor subcribers, but I will be posting the code, some excerpts, and some elaboration on some of the topics over the next few days or weeks.
